Year-round indoor padel with training, activities, tournaments, and events for all levels — no weather worries, ever.
Train indoors all year round. Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or sharpening your game, our coaches and climate-controlled courts mean consistent progress regardless of the season.
Plan with confidence — indoor means no weather cancellations. Whether you're 4 or 100 people, we host corporate team building, birthday parties, and private hires all year round.
Weekly leagues and tournaments that never get rained off. Just show up and we take care of the rest — regular social events and an internal ranking system so you always have someone to play.
Social life, activities and great experiences — Padel Mill is the place where the city meets.
Cambridge has outdoor padel courts — but you lose half the year to British weather. Padel Mill changes that. Purpose-built indoor courts with 8-metre ceilings, professional LED lighting, and climate-controlled play 365 days a year. No cancellations, no excuses.
Outdoor courts are great in summer — but this is England
I play outdoors at the moment and I've had at least ten sessions rained off this year alone. An indoor facility in Cambridge would be an absolute game-changer — I'd play twice a week instead of hoping for dry weather.
We tried to book outdoor padel for a team event last November. Cancelled twice because of rain. An indoor option near the office would mean we could actually lock in a regular slot and know it's happening.
I've played indoor padel in Spain and Copenhagen — it's a completely different experience to outdoor. Consistent lighting, no wind affecting the ball, comfortable temperature. Cambridge desperately needs this.
Padel Mill is Cambridge's first dedicated indoor padel tennis club, bringing purpose-built courts to the city for year-round play. Padel is the fastest-growing racquet sport in the UK, combining elements of tennis and squash on an enclosed glass-walled court. It's played in doubles, easy to learn, and one of the most social sports you can play — making it ideal for beginners, experienced players, and corporate groups alike.
While Cambridge has several outdoor padel courts — including at David Lloyd and local tennis clubs — there is currently no indoor padel facility in the city. This means players lose months of the year to rain, wind, and poor light. Padel Mill solves this with a fully indoor venue featuring 8-metre ceilings, professional LED court lighting, climate control, and premium court surfaces designed to FIP (International Padel Federation) specifications.
The club will be located within 3 miles of Cambridge city centre, accessible from the A14 and with dedicated customer parking. We're converting a high-ceiling industrial warehouse — the same approach used by successful indoor padel venues across the UK in cities like Sheffield, Leeds, Milton Keynes, and London.
Padel Mill will offer court hire for casual play, coaching and academy programmes for all ages and levels, weekly social leagues (Americano and Mexicano formats), corporate team-building events, and private hire for parties and groups. Equipment hire will be available for newcomers who want to try the sport before investing in their own racket.
We're currently building a waitlist ahead of our planned 2027 opening. Early supporters who sign up receive founding member rates, priority court booking, and first access to leagues and events. There's no cost or commitment — join the waitlist in 30 seconds to stay updated on our progress.
